A ribbon cutting was held Tuesday at Starr Hill Winery’s new downtown St. Marys locatiaon in the Franklin Center. Attending the ceremony were Starr Hill employees Wendy Heitsenrether, Barb Schatz, Kenneth Starr and Kenn Starr and St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce representatives Sally Wilson, Greg Stauffer, David Larkin, Paula Weyant and Mark Jacob.
The store carries an expansive selection of specialty food products including wine supplies, such as various yeasts, for home wine makers. In addition, the store also features a full line of Polish pottery, which is also offered at the winery’s other two locations in Clearfield and Curwensville, where the winery and vineyard is headquartered. Starr noted that customers can utilize the new location to host private parties in the store’s solarium.
The store’s hours of operations are currently Tuesdays through Thursdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Sundays and Monday. These hours are subject to change.
