PHILIPSBURG – The state police in Clearfield are asking for the public’s help in finding two men involved in a robbery early Friday morning.
According to police the incident occurred on Old Route 322 in Philipsburg. Police said that a 40-year-old Osceola Mills woman pulled into the driveway belonging to a 44-year-old Philipsburg woman. Police said once the Osceola Mills woman left her vehicle a man about 18-years-old came from behind her and pointed a black semi-automatic pistol in her face and demanded her money.
Police said that once she showed the man that she didn’t have any money a second man, about 18-years-old, then demanded that she take him into the residence. Once inside the second man flashed a long-barreled revolver, silver in color, and demanded drugs and money. The Philipsburg woman told him that she didn’t have anything in the house and grabbed him, shoving him out the door. She then called the state police.
The first suspect is described as being about 6 feet tall and of medium build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a flannel shirt over it and a dark-colored jacket on top of that. He had a dark knit hat and a blue and white handkerchief over his face.
The second suspect is described as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall and of a thin build. He was wearing a tan Carhart hooded jacket and tan Carhart pants, black gloves and a red and black handkerchief over his face.
