DUBOIS – A Youngstown, OH man lost his life in a fatal accident at the Interstate 80 off ramp Wednesday night.
According to state police DuBois Ronald Morrow was traveling east on Interstate 80. He attempted to get off on the eastbound off-ramp at milemarker 97 and overshot the turn. His vehicle left the road and went through the median. He was able to maintain control of the vehicle, which he brought back onto the road.
Upon reentering the roadway, Morrow’s vehicle began to overturn onto the driver’s side and slid across the off-ramp. The vehicle then left the road on its driver’s side and entered a drainage ditch. The Freightliner then rode up the embankment, struck some trees and rotated clockwise.
Police did not indicate when Morrow was pronounced dead, only that the accident was fatal.
