CURWENSVILLE – A 49-year-old Curwensville man will face child rape and related charges that stem from a June 14 incident in Curwensville Borough, the Clearfield-based State Police reported.
According to the report, the man has been accused of child rape, aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault, statutory sexual assault and sexual assault.
Police stated that the man raped and sexually assaulted an 8-year-old Clearfield girl. Police stated that District Attorney William A. Shaw, Jr. approved the charges for an arrest warrant based upon the evidence that was collected through the investigation.
Police stated that the man was arraigned before District Justice Richard Ireland. They stated that bail was set at $50,000 monetary.
