CLEARFIELD – Attention Creative Minds! Nature Abounds, a national non-profit based in Clearfield, seeks entries for logo contest.
Watch the Wild™, the latest program of Nature Abounds engages citizens across the country in observing and reporting on the natural resources in their community, Volunteers contribute information about wildlife, plants, trees, and weather. Watching the Wild can be done in a specific area such as your backyard or a local park, or volunteers can choose to observe and report on the route they commute to work or a trail that they hike regularly.
WHO:
Artists from all levels of expertise, and at least 13 years of age to enter the Watch the Wild Logo Contest are invited to enter. Employees and Board Members of Nature Abounds as well as their immediate families are not eligible to enter the contest.
WHAT:
Nature Abounds™ requests a logo that can be used for various purposes like fact sheets and press releases, website, and logowear, just to name a few possible uses. Awards include national and local recognition as well as a four-year membership with Nature Abounds.
Digital images as well as hand-created artwork will be accepted as entries. If a digital entry, it should be emailed to info@natureabounds.org. Digital entries should be 700×700 pixels, and in any of the following formats: jpeg, jpg, tiff, or gif. If a hand-created artwork, the size should 6 inches by 6 inches and mailed to Nature Abounds, PO Box 241, Clearfield, PA 16830.
WHEN:
Entries must be RECEIVED by Nature Abounds by Oct. 10. Submissions, along with the Official Entry form, can be emailed to info@natureabounds.org or by mail to Nature Abounds, PO Box 241, Clearfield, PA 16830. Entries received after Oct. 10 will not be eligible. Also, receipt of packages cannot be acknowledged, and entries will not be returned.
