CLEARFIELD – With school resuming this week in the area, motorists will encounter delays along US Route 322 as work continues on that road between Clearfield and Philipsburg. Volumes of traffic, along with a higher level of work activity could cause longer delays than usual. Surface improvement work began in mid-June and there are a number of locations currently seeing work activity.
Work includes milling, daylight paving, joint repair and nighttime paving. Drivers need to remain alert for flaggers, lane restrictions and slowed or stopped traffic. All work is weather dependent. HRI, Inc. is the contractor on this $3.3 million project. PennDOT expects work to finish by late fall.
