CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors opened bids for the proposed roof job at the township building on Tuesday.
Bids averaged at around $99,000. The highest bid coming in at $127,340 by Ralph J. Albarano & Sons, Inc. out of Duncansville and the lowest regular bid came in at $69,467 by Greenland Construction, Inc. out of Clearfield.
There were 10 companies that submitted bids for the job.
A Woodland company withdrew their bid for reasons not stated at the meeting. A Clearfield company offered two alternative bids at $24,999 and $59,360 with conditions.
The bids were turned over to the township engineer for review.
