PHILIPSBURG – The Decatur Township Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle accident that resulted in one person being flown for treatment.
According to the report the accident occurred on US Route 322 near the Graham Station intersectionon Wednesday afternoon. James Frank of Phililpsburg was traveling eastbound and attempted to turn into Keller Tire & Auto. Police said that he failed to see a vehicle driven by Tracey Bowman of Woodland approaching from the west. Frank turned into the path of Bowman, resulting in a near head-on collision.
Frank was transported to Clearfield Hospital by Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services for treatment of minor injuries. Bowman was airlifted to Altoona Regional Trauma Center for treatment of serious injuries.
