PHILIPSBURG – State police in Clearfield announced the arrest of a Houtzdale man for allegedly forging pre scri ptions.
According to police Justin Bordas, 22 of Houtzdale, reportedly stole a pre scri ption pad from a DuBois dentist’s office. He then forged the names of a Philipsburg woman and Hawk Run man to obtain pre scri ptions from three area pharmacies.
Police stated that Bordas admitted to the crimes. He was arraigned for that case and placed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000. He was then arraigned on another set of charges, with bail set at the same amount.
