RIDGWAY – A Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal investigation ruled that a Sunday evening fire in Ridgway Township was accidental in nature, the Ridgway State Police reported.
According to the report, the fire marshal, of the Ridgway station, conducted the investigation into the fire’s origin and cause with the Ridgway Fire Chief. Police stated that the fire damaged a 28-foot by 36-foot wood frame, single story residential dwelling at Mohan Run Road.
Police indicated that damage is currently estimated at $60,000. No injuries were reported. Police also noted that the American Red Cross assisted the victim at the scene of the fire.
