DUBOIS – Del Spafford, ombudsman for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Group, speaks to a group of Rotarians, downtown business owners and municipal officials. The group sponsored a luncheon to educate the business community about the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. The ESGR group acts as a liaison between the service member and their civilian employers. The topic is timely since over 6000 Pennsylvania reservists are coming back from a lengthy deployment to Iraq this September. The event was hosted by the DuBois Rotary Club and the Downtown DuBois Revitalization Group.
