CLEARFIELD – On Thursday night Clearfield Borough Code Enforcement Officer Larry Mack announced that the borough is going to crack down on abandoned, neglected or unlicensed vehicles.
“Clearfield Borough Police, in consunction with the Code Enforcement Office, will be addressing complaints of vehicles parked on private property and public right of ways which are abandoned, neglected or unlicensed,” said Mack.
“The Borough of Clearfield has received numerous complaints of property owners placing vehicles on their property which are not capable of being registered or licensed. According to Borough Code, these vehicles must be removed if they are obstructing passageways, unlicensed or not repairable.
“The code enforcement officer will be enforcing the various codes which apply to private property with the Clearfield Borough Police Department addressing those which apply to public areas.
“Clearfield Borough asks anyone knowing of vehicles being parked which are unlicensed or any type of nuisance to contact either the Administration Office of Clearfield Borough at 765-7817 or the Clearfield Borough Police Department at 765-7819.”
