Coudersport – Williamsport West-End came from behind to send the Clearfield Babe Ruth 15-year old All-stars into the consolation bracket at CARP Field in Coudersport.
Clearfield led 3-2 after four innings, but gave up eight runs in the fifth and sixth innings, while scoring four in those same two innings to set the final score at 9-7.
Clearfield will face off with the West End and Potter-McKean loser in the consolation bracket final Saturday at 3:00 pm.
Kyler Kephart was the only Clearfielder to have two hits, while Curtis Frye had the only extra base hit, a double.
Derrick Snyder was the hard luck loser on the night, giving up only two earned runs in five plus innings of work from the hill.
