CLEARFIELD – The week of July 20 will bring the start of roadway resurfacing on various routes throughout Clearfield County. Major paving routes include state Route 879 from the Hyde traffic light to Curwensviile; SR 153 from Houtzdale to the Cambria County line; and SR 410 from Luthersburg to Troutville. Oil and chip application will also occur on various, secondary routes.
Motorists may encounter flaggers on these state routes during daylight hours and should expect slight travel time delays. Drivers should remain alert for signage, flaggers and slowed or stopped traffic.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company is the contractor on this $4.2 million project. The resurfacing work will be complete by October, with all
work weather dependent.
PennDOT reminds motorists to move through all work zones with caution, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.
