CLEARFIELD – Over the weekend crowds turned out for Country Jamin’ the Valley and the Wing Fling.
The Wing Fling gave people an opportunity to try wings from a number of area vendors. Those participating included: Arrowhead Restaurant, Aunt Mary’s Place, Buster’s, Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub, Dinger’s Grand Slam Grille & Groggery, Jax Sports Bar & Mexican Grill, and Legend’s Sports Bar, all of Clearfield, also Down River Restaurant/Express Café & Convenience of Shawville and Clearfield, Holt Daddy’s Pub of Osceola Mills, and LC Jordan’s Deli & Mini Mart of Frenchville.
At Country Jamin’ the Valley, independent artists performed free shows to the delight of those attending the event. Smokin Joe and his Wild Horse Band, Jerry Schickling, Distillery Dave, Joe Quick Band, One Lane Bridge, Elaini Arthur, Sheryl-Dawn Ryan, Brett Allen Morgan, Heather Olson, and Laura Fedor were scheduled to perform.
