CLEARFIELD – PennDOT issues the following travel update for its Interstate 80, Clearfield County project. These restrictions are for the week of June 29. Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. of State College is the contractor on this $53 million project. All work is weather dependent.
• Work will continue at DuBois exit 101 westbound off ramp from June 29 through July 2.
• Work will be performed on the Anderson Creek bridge structures at mile marker 106 eastbound and westbound, June 29 through July 2. Work access will be from the Anderson Creek township road only. There will be no lane restrictions on I-80.
• Roadwork and lane restrictions will take place during daylight hours only.
• June 29 and 30, sub contractor Safety Grooving and Grinding will be retexturing the roadway surface on westbound lanes about a half-mile from the Clearfield/120 interchange.
• The contractor will begin lifting lane restrictions eastbound and westbound on June 30 and July 1 in preparation of having all lanes available for travel from July 2 through July 6. Lane restrictions will go back into effect July 7.
• No work will be performed July 3, 4, 5 or 6.
PennDOT reminds motorists to travel with caution through work zones, obey posted speed limits, remain alert for stopped or slowed traffic and always buckle up.
