CLEARFIELD – An Illionois man who is currently on parole in Iowa was placed under arrest by the Lawrence Township Police Department at 1:43 a.m. Monday at the Budget Inn Motel.
According to the report, police were called to the establishment, as the man was passed out inside a vehicle. Police indicated that blood was all over the vehicle but had not determined the source of the blood.
Police indicated that they attempted to wake the man and found out he was OK. He then attempted to place the keys in the ignition and subsequently leave.
Police said that following a short struggle, the man was placed into custody and transported to the Clearfield County Jail.
