CLEARFIELD – At Tuesday’s meeting, the Clearfield County Commissioners approved a received request to relocate the Girard Township Polling location from the LeContes Mills Fire Hall to the township building.
Commissioner Chairwoman Joan Robinson-McMillen indicated that the new location is already handicapped accessible and located near the fire hall.
“It’s a more appropriate polling place. But if anyone opposes it, we need to hear from them,” Commissioner Mark McCracken said.
McMillen added, “We can’t know if they don’t let us know.”
