CLEARFIELD – Central PA Community Action, a private non-profit organization serving Centre and Clearfield Counties since 1967, received a donation from Graymont, Inc., located in Pleasant Gap, PA, Centre County, of 100 tons of limestone for CPCA’s Weatherization Warehouse, located in Hyde, PA, Clearfield County. The warehouse location has approximately 18 employees from our weatherization department, providing weatherization, emergency furnace repair, lead abatement, housing rehab and handi-cap accessibility programs to our two county areas.
The parking lot area was a dirt surface and was in dire need leveling and resurfacing. CPCA also wanted to extend the parking lot to allow for additional employee parking and to provide additional space for CPCA to offer trailer weatherization training through the state. Grants that CPCA receive from the state and federal government do not pay for upgrading our facility or grounds. The donation of the 100 tons of limestone allowed CPCA to extend the parking lot at our weatherization warehouse for parking and training.
CPCA would like to thank Graymont, Inc. for their generous donation in support of their programming.
