CLEARFIELD –PennDOT removed weight limit restrictions on the Route 2041/Bailey’s Run Bridge today. The bridge is located on Route 2041, southwest of the village of Hyde in Clearfield County.
In mid-March, PennDOT lowered the posting on the bridge to 5 ton for single vehicles and 10 ton for combination vehicles. Now that PennDOT has completed repairs on the bridge, no weight posting is necessary.
Built in 1937, the Bailey’s Run Bridge is 13 feet long and carries an average of 588 vehicles per day. For more information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, visit the PennDOT Web site.
