CLEARFIELD – Monday will bring the start of work on PennDOT’s Route 3011/Bell Run bridge replacement project in Penn Township, Clearfield County. The bridge is located on Route 3011, west of the village of Grampian.
While crews work to build a new, single span, concrete bridge, a temporary roadway will carry traffic around the work zone. Other construction activity includes approach work, drainage upgrades and guide-rail installation. Francis J. Palo, Inc. of Clarion is the contractor on the $837,000 project. The new bridge will be open to traffic by October. All work is weather dependent.
PennDOT reminds motorists to move through all work zones with caution, obey posted speed limits and detour signs and always buckle up. For more information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, visit PennDOT Web site.
