CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors and Lawrence Township Recreation/Park Board are looking at new playground equipment for the township.
On Tuesday the supervisors approved applying for a Department of Conservation and Natural Resources grant for $17,500 for playground equipment. The township will match that.
“I think we can handle it,” said Supervisor Fred Redden.
The supervisors have the option to spread the purchases out over the next few years until the grant funds become available.
