PHILIPSBURG – State police in Philipsburg reported a burglary that occurred in Philipsburg on Thursday.
According to police someone smashed the glass out of a Philipsburg woman’s front door. The person then entered and removed a 19 inch flat panel LCD television, a .25 semi-automatic pistol, a large amount of jewelry, several pre scri ptions and a large amount of cash.
The person left behind part of a device called “The Club” which is normally used to lock the steering wheel of a vehicle. Police believe this item was used to smash the door glass.
