HORTON TOWNSHIP – State police in Ridgway and the Horton Township Fire Department are investigating a fire that destroyed a 1996 John Deere 640G log skidder along Bundy Settlement Road.
According to police the fire is under the investigation of a fire marshall and the fire department. Police reported that the vehicle was last seen by the owner on Jan. 25 at 2 a.m. The vehicle was discovered with fire damage on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
Damage is estimated at $40,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
