PHILIPSBURG – An accident in Philipsburg Borough on Thursday left one driver injured.
According to state police in Philipsburg a 17-year-old Philipsburg girl was traveling east on East Spruce Street and a vehicle by Timothy Reese of Port Matilda was traveling north on Ninth Street.
Police said the girl failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection and struck the Reese vehicle.
The girl was transported to Clearfield Hospital by Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services after suffering moderate injuries.
No other injuries were reported. Hope Fire Departed assisted at the scene, as did Price Parkway and Rick’s Amaco.
