Penn State DuBois Men\’s Basketball team won two PSUAC Conference games this weekend against Scranton and Abington. PSU DuBois recorded a lopsided win against PSU Scranton on Friday by a score of 96-41. In the game, DuBois was lead by Jovan Brown who had a career high 22 points along with 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Other players chipping in were Chris Dickison (20 points, 8 rebounds) and Marcus Genevro with 15 points.
On Saturday, PSU DuBois defeated defending PSUAC champion, PSU Abington. DuBois used a balanced attack, lead by Marcus Genevro (29 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists). Josh Salter (22 points, 4 rebounds), Chris Dickison (21
points, 9 rebounds), and Cedrick Williams (10 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists) also gave significant contributions.
\”I thought we improved as a basketball team this weekend. We had a great defensive effort during the secound half of today\’s game. I thought we had too many breakdowns in the first half, but the players responded and stepped it up
in the second half. This was a very good win against the defending conference champions.\”
Penn State DuBois is now 7-4 overall and 4-1 in the PSUAC. Penn State DuBois will travel to Clarion on Friday to take on Clarion University in a non-conference matchup.
