GIRARD TOWNSHIP – State police in Clearfield reported an accident on Monday that resulted in a Rossiter woman being injured.
According to police Sandra Snyder was traveling east on state Route 879. While rounding a left curve her vehicle began to slide on an icy patch. She slid across the westbound lane and left the road, where she struck an embankment.
Snyder suffered minor injuries and was transported to Clearfield Hospital for further evaluation. Police reported that she was wearing her seat belt.
Police were assisted at the scene by Lecontes Mills Volunteer Fire Department and PennDOT.
