GRAHAM TOWNSHIP – State police in Clearfield reported an accident on Sunday that left two Michigan residents with moderate injuries.
According to police Dirk Casier of Monroe, MI was driving east on Interstate 80 in the right lane of travel when he lost control of his vehicle while attempting to round a left curve on the icy road.
He traveled off the road into the north berm where his vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof.
Both Dirk Casier and his passenger Anna Casier suffered moderate injuries. They were transported to Clearfield Hospital for treatment. According to police both were wearing seat belts.
No charges will be filed against Dirk Casier due to the road environmental/road conditions that existed at the time of the accident.
