MORRIS TOWNSHIP – The Clearfield-based State Police initiated an investigation into an incident of endangering the welfare of a child that occurred Friday night in Morris Township.
According to the report, police were investigating a suspicious vehicle incident. During the investigation, police determined that Jason Paul Erskine, 26, was huffing paint in the vehicle with his one month old child inside. Police said that further investigation determined that Erskine had been doing so almost daily for over a month.
Erskine has been arraigned and charged with felony, endangering the welfare of a child and other related offenses.
