CLEARFIELD COUNTY – The Clearfield County DUI Strike Force will be participating in “Operation Safe Holiday”. “Operation Safe Holiday” is a comprehensive mobilization that targets impaired driving, aggressive driving and unbelted occupants in the stated of Pennsylvania. Officers will be conducting Safety and DUI checkpoints, called a “BOLT” and will also be doing Roving Patrols.
Officers from Clearfield Borough, Curwensville Borough, Dubois City, Decatur Twp., Lawrence Twp., Morris-Cooper Regional, and Sandy Township Police Departments, will be conducting the details.
Last year there were 34 accidents in Clearfield County during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
