CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man is in stable condition after a bear attack on Tuesday.
According to a source close to the victim, the 39-year-old Clearfield man was bear hunting in Lawrence Township when he was attacked by a bear. As of last night the man was being treated at Clearfield Hospital and was expected to be released.
The source stated that the attack is being investigated by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
