CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough Fire Chief Brett Owens gave an update on fire that ravaged a Chester Street home earlier this month.
Owens said he was told by investigators that the Chester Street fire has been ruled as accident and that the cause was electrical.
The fire began at 12:49 a.m. Owens stated at the time that no one was home during the fire and that there were no injuries to emergency responders.
Responders were praised for their actions by Clearfield Borough President Jim Leitzinger.
