CLEARFIELD- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation issues the following travel update for the Clearfield County, I-80 improvement project. These activities are for the week of Nov. 3.
* Roadwork and lane restrictions will take place during daylight hours only, Monday through Saturday.
* The eastbound right (travel) lane is restricted from mile marker 113 (near Penfield exit) to mile marker 119 (near Clearfield exit) so crews can perform joint sealing, pavement markings, seeding and sign installation.
* All lanes of I-80 westbound in Clearfield County are open.
* Speeds are reduced in the work zones to 45 MPH during working hours and
55 MPH during non-working hours.
PennDOT reminds motorists to travel with caution through work zones, obey posted speed limits, remain alert for stopped or slowed traffic and always buckle up.
