CLEARFIELD – Central Pennsylvania Community Action is pleased to offer a First-time Homebuyers seminar to the public. This seminar will focus on educating participants on the steps to finding, financing, and purchasing a home for the first time.
Topics will include managing your money and creating a budget, the benefits of homeownership, understanding credit, applying for a mortgage loan, and buying your first home.
This seminar meets the requirements for certain First-time Homebuyer programs, but is also a great opportunity to learn the basics of purchasing a home for anyone that is interested in homeownership.
The eight hour seminar will be held over two days at CPCA’s Clearfield office. The seminar will meet Nov. 6, from 6-9:00 p.m. and Nov. 8, from 9-2:45 p.m. The cost is $15.00 to cover the cost of materials. Anyone interested in attending should contact Tia Lansberry by Nov. 4 at 814-765-1551 or 1-800-822-2610.
