CLEARFIELD – Work is continuing on PennDOT’s state Route 879/Lick Run Bridge project in Lawrence Township. During the week of June 9, crews will work to remove embankment material from the western end of the project. Traffic flow will be restricted to one lane during work hours with flaggers in place to control traffic.
The project will be signed to alert drivers to the work area and lane restriction. Work hours on the project will be from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm during the week, with all work weather dependent. Blasting on the project is expected to begin by the end of the week.
PennDOT reminds motorists to move through all work zones with caution, obey posted speed limit signs and always buckle up. For more information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, visit PennDOT’s Web site.
