Reynoldsville- Mother Nature was finally friendly again with bright blue skies over Hummingbird Speedway.
The Prontock Beer Distributor R WD 4 Cylinders started the show on the Mike Eberl Memorial. George Bailey drew the pole position with Bill McMillen Sr. on the outside of the front row. McMillen made a quick pass on the outside of turn 2 to take the lead down the backstretch. That lead would not last long, as McMillen spun in turn 4 on lap 3. George Bailey in the 20 car took over the lead and would hold on for the final 13 laps taking the checkered flag. Orin Taylor came from the 9th starting spot to take 2nd followed by Don Henry, Allen Barnett and Bill Washek.

Brookville Wood Products/BWP Bats Limited Late Models
A deep inversion in the BWP Bats Limited Late Models meant that the heat winners Bob McMillen, Eric Moore and Luke Hoffner would start no better than 10th in the feature and that caused problems right from the start. After the green flag, Dave Shagla had to make a quick move on the backstretch. Eric Moore had to avoid him and in doing so collected Bob McMillen. After the restart the #231 of George Fultz led lap 1 with Shagla taking the lead on lap 2. Shagla’s car was off and running. The only car to stay close was the #55H of Jake Shady. Shady applied serious pressure to Shagla for 12 laps. Shagla was just one turn from claiming the checkers when he spun out of turn 4 into the infield allowing Shady to cross the line in 1st. Shagla was able to salvage 2nd Place. Dwayne Brooks crossed the line in 3rd followed by George Fultz and Donny Connor.
