CURWENSVILLE – Anglers from all around turned out for the Curwensville Anglers Restocking Program Fourth Annual Alan C. Bloom Crappie Bass Tournament at Curwensville Lake on Saturday.
In all, 102 fisherman hit the lake hoping to take home the top prize of $2,000 and replicas of each two-person team’s top fish. The replicas are being donated by Horner Wildlife Taxidermy.
“It’s fantastic,” said Stacey Bressler, member of CARP and one of the organizers of the event.
Each team could keep three fish, which had to be alive at weigh-in and would then be released back to the lake.
