PHILIPSBURG – State police in Philipsburg reported that a Philipsburg man was robbed on Tuesday afternoon along State Street.
According to police the man was assaulted by two men outside of his residence. During the assault one of the men reached inside the Philipsburg man’s pants and removed about $400 in cash before fleeing the scene.
The man told police he was unsure which way they went and could not provide a de scri ption of them. He received a head injury during the assault.
