HORTON TOWNSHIP – A car, which had been reported stolen by the city of St. Marys, was recovered after a one-vehicle accident at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday in Horton Township, the Ridgway State Police reported.
According to the report, a St. Marys man was traveling north on state Route 219, when he lost control of his vehicle. He, then, traveled off the east berm and into a culvert at the intersection of SR 219 and Howard Road.
The man sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the DuBois Regional Medial Center. He was later transported to the Altoona General Hospital by State Medevac.
