BROCKWAY – The Curwensville Lady Tide jumped out to a 7-0 lead at Brockway Wednesday afternoon against the Rovers. Then came some thunder, some rain and some lightning.
The game was quickly suspended in the top of the fourth with the Lady Tide having 2 outs, Jenessa Stiles on third base and Stacey Johnson batting with an 0-1 count.
Curwensville Athletic Director and head softball coach, Allen Leigey, was uncertain when the contest would resume. It is possible that the game will be finished on May 8th when the Lady Rovers visit Curwensville.
Gantdaily will inform the public as soon as an announcement is made.
