CLEARFIELD – The name of the man involved in an armed confrontation Tuesday with members of the Lawrence Township Police Department has been released.
Steven Korb is charged with two counts each of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and simple assault.
According to an earlier report, officers responded to a noise complaint on Dorey Street Extension and advised the resident that police were there. The resident reportedly answered the door and pointed a loaded handgun at police officers. Those officers also had their guns drawn.
The man dropped his weapon and was taken into custody.
Korb is being held in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
