DUBOIS – The Clearfield STARZ All-Star Cheerleading Organization kicked off its’ 2007-2008 Competition Cheerleading Season Nov. 3 at DuBois. Starz Teams placed in all four all-star divisions. The Starz Minis and Youth placed third. The Starz Juniors placed 2nd and the Senior Team placed first in the Senior Division.
The talented Senior squad was also named the competition’s grand champion by scoring the highest point total of all teams in each division. Clearfield Starz Gym is located in Hyde and along with the 4 competitive teams, offers cheer tumbling instruction every Saturday; and will hold cheer camps Nov. 24 and Nov. 27 for all youth in the area from ages 4 to 12.
