CLEARFIELD – Work on a railroad crossing in Bell Township, near McGees Mills, along U.S. Route 219 that was scheduled to begin Wednesday and continue through Saturday has been rescheduled for this Saturday and Sunday.
Crews from R.J. Corman Railroad Co. will replace the existing timber/asphalt grade crossing with a concrete panel crossing. During the replacement work, the roadway will be restricted to one lane with flaggers on site to direct traffic. Motorists should expect minor delays.
PennDOT reminds drivers to move through work zones with caution and to always buckle up.
