CLEARFIELD – A 44-year-old Ohio man was sentenced to state prison on a probation recocation for presenting false identifcation to law authorities.
This is the second time that Ricardo Hepburn presented false ID to officials after a stop on Interstate 80. On the revocation, the Honorable Judge Paul E. Cherry sentenced Hepburn to six months to a year in state prison. On two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, Hepburn was sentenced to 30 days to one year in state prison on each count, with those sentences to run concurrent to each other but consecutive to the revocation. On the false identification charge, Hepburn was sentenced to 30 days to one year in state prison, that sentence to run concurrent to the probation hit.
Hepburn was also ordered to pay fines and court costs.
According to court records Hepburn was traveling eastbound on I-80 in Cooper Township when he was stopped. Troopers gained consent to search the vehicle, finding a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
