DUBOIS – A DuBois man accused of selling drugs to a confidential informant waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday before Magisterial District Judge Patrick N. Ford.
Bruce Wilson, 22, aka “Blue,” is accused of selling drugs to a confidential informant in July.
Police report that on July 24, Wilson allegedly sold cocaine to the confidential informant. The next day, the Troop C Vice Unit of the state police executed a search warrant on an East Scribner Avenue home in DuBois.
A search turned up about 1.5 ounces of marijuana, a stamp bag of heroin marked with “Dynamite” and $3.252 in cash in a room that Wilson had been locked inside.
Police had to use a ram to enter Wilson’s room.
Police found a $100-bill and a $20-bill that had been used in the previous day’s cocaine purchase.
A woman in the home at the time of the entry allegedly told police that she saw people coming to the home and giving a woman money. The people would then meet with “Blue.”
Wilson’s bail was lowered to $25,000 in each of the two cases. He faces counts of possession with intent to deliver in each case.
Bail was previously set at $150,000.
