CLEARFIELD – A Curwensville man accused of running a drug distribution ring from 2001 to 2005 was found guilty on multiple counts in two cases of drug possession and possession with intent to deliver charges by a jury Friday evening.
A three day trial was held for Robert Prisk. close to three hours to reach their verdict. Overall, he was found guilty of three counts of delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine), three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (cocaine), criminal conspiracy to posses with the intent to deliver (cocaine) and criminal conspiracy to possess a controlled substance (cocaine). In a related case, Prisk was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (marijuana), criminal conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver (marijuana) and possession of paraphernalia.
Throughout the trial investigators, buyers, and even some of Prisk’s alleged co-defendants took the stand for the commonwealth.
Prisk was determined to be the head of a $500,000 per year cocaine and marijuana distribution ring. Attorney General Tom Corbett said in a press conference over one year ago that a grand jury found that Prisk used his garage and home to sell, store and use marijuana and cocaine.
Prisk will be sentenced within the next 60 days. He was placed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 on each case.
