FALLS CREEK – Two people died inside a house fire in Falls Creek, Jefferson County, overnight Thursday.
State police at DuBois said Gary J. Sierzega, 52, of Falls Creek, and Kimberly S. Sierzega, 18, of Falls Creek, died after a First Street home caught on fire late Thursday night.
The state police fire marshal’s unit determined that the fire was accidental and was caused by electrical wiring leading to an interior wall outlet.
Catherine A. Sierzega, 55, of Falls Creek, escaped the home uninjured.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Falls Creek Fire Department, Third Ward Fire Department and the Jefferson County Coroner.
