Mo Valley senior 135 pounder Ryan Jacoby went 3-0 over the weekend to claim the gold medal at the Southwest Region AA Championships.
Jacoby beat Westmont-Hilltop\’s Kyle Patton 2-1 on the tie-breaker to earn the title. Patton had knocked off the #2 ranked wrestler in the state, Burrell\’s Shane Welsh, in the semis.
Jacoby will put his undefeated record on the line at the PIAA state championships starting Wednesday in Hershey.
