DUBOIS – The Penn State DuBois Learning Center is seeking donations of any new or used books from romance to reference for its upcoming fifth annual Book Bazaar.
Technical, fiction, non-fiction, history, travel, biographies, cookbooks, children’s books—all types of books are welcome as well as video and audio tapes. All items will be made available to students, free of charge, at the Book Bazaar scheduled February 28. The purpose of the bazaar is to encourage reading. “Reading begets reading, and the goal is for each student to walk away with something in hand interesting to read,” said organizers.
Donations will be accepted until February 27. Books may be dropped off at the Learning Center, located in Room 107 Hiller Building, on campus. For more information, contact the Learning Center at 814-375-4795.
Collection boxes for books will be placed in Hiller, Smeal, Swift, and DEF lobbies.
