CLEARFIELD COUNTY – On Friday and Saturday, the Clearfield County DUI Strike Force conducted DUI roving patrols looking for people driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.
Officers from Clearfield Borough, Morris-Cooper Regional, Curwensville Borough, Lawrence Township, Sandy Township, and the Pennsylvania State Police conducted the roving patrols.
Police arrested six people for DUI, issued 28 traffic violations, two non-traffic citations, one citation for minors consuming alcohol, three arrests for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and 23 warnings for traffic violations.
The checkpoints and roving patrols will continue weekly in Clearfield County through 2007.
